Oxford University has 3 history around for a very long time and some of its history is 4 totally clear. 5 For example, no one knows for certain when it first opened its doors, but there is proof that professors were teaching 6 students as far back as the 11th century. After 1167, when the king, Henry II, did not allow English students 7 to go to France to study. Oxford University grew very quickly. Up until 1849, only men attended Oxford. Nowadays, however, many women study 8 at the University. Oxford University is very famous and it is rather I hard to get in to study 9 for a degree. It may take a lot of work to earn one, but if you have a degree from Oxford, you have one of 10 the best degrees in the world.</span>
