В английском языке существует два типа залога: активный (Active Voice) и пассивный (Passive Voice). В активном залоге подлежащее обозначает лицо или предмет, которое совершает действие, а глагол употребляется в форме действительного залога. В пассивном (страдательном) залоге действие направлено на лицо, выраженное подлежащим.
