Painting English artist Alma-Tadema sir Lawrence is dedicated to the Heliogabalus, who on his feast, showered the guests with flowers, and those suffocated by their aromas. Alma-Tadema sir Lawrence (1836-1912) was an English artist, author 408 of paintings, mostly devoted to antiquity. Alma-Tadema was born in the Netherlands, studied at the Royal Academy in Antwerp.
