Dear Sasha!
Now it is already 2 o’clock. I don’t sleep, I can’t
sleep. A terrible thing happened today. Now I will tell you.
I was alone at home today. My parents were at work. It was 10 o’clock when I was
going to bed. Suddenly I heard some voices behind the flat door. I looked
through a peephole and saw two young men on the landing. They were trying to
open the door of our neighbor. Our neighbor is an old kind woman. She lives
alone and she doesn’t hear well. I called her to warn of danger but nobody
answered me. I was so afraid! I called the police and told them everything. They
couldn’t believe me, they thought that I was joking. Sometimes teenagers call
the police for joking. But it was a real dangerous situation and I didn’t know
what to do. Thank goodness the police believed me and they arrived very
quickly. The criminals were caught. Then I was asked some questions. My neighbor
- an old woman – thanked me. Then she
gave me a cake and we drank tea together. I am happy I could help. That’s all.
I have to go to bed. It is late. Bye!

There are many people in the room.
There are many pupils in my school.
There is much money in my pocket.
There is much cheese in the fridge.
There is not much bread in the basket.
Is there much butter in the fridge?
Is there much salt in the soup?
Is there much water in the glass?
Are there many people in the street?
Are there many oranges in the box?
Are there many cars in the garage?
