Официанты, работающие в столовой, создают атмосферу, определяющую популярность ресторана, поэтому их работа важна для успеха ресторана.
В ресторане перед тем, как он откроется, приходят в ресторан (мейтр д'отель), Виктор и бармен Боб. Виктор - опытный официант. Он имеет многолетний опыт работы в этом и других ресторанах. Основная часть его работы - контролировать и координировать работу персонала в столовой. Он также приветствует гостей, когда они приходят, и показывает их за столами.
Боб, бармен, очень опытен в винах и коктейлях. Он знает много рецептов коктейлей и крепких напитков.
Официанты в столовой приходят за полчаса до открытия. Сначала они моют руки и переодеваются в форму. Затем они устанавливают столы перед приходом гостей.
Три официанта обслуживают несколько обложек. Их задача - принять заказ и подавать еду своим гостям.
Один из официантов, Нэнси, очень способный и опытный, и может помочь Виктору, если это необходимо. Второй официант, Лаура, новичок в этой работе, но она уже работала в других ресторанах.
