Our society faced a great problem not long ago. The equality between men and women. So we have to struggle with it even nowadays. The problem is that some people think about woman just as a housekeeper and mother of their children. Male society consider that a woman can't start her own business or found a company. "Women still should stay at home and make her stuff/duty". There is still some kind of myth about man as a dominant and breadwinner.
Women should be more respected. They shouldn't be underestimated. They are more sensible, but it doesn't make them silly or weak in front of the society. Women can teach, discover, even create a new life. And by the way, who told that they are just a shades of their husband's figure? It is all just a thing of the past. Some people still have stereotypes in mind. Many women have proved us that they can change the course of the whole humanity: Marie Curie, Cleopatra, Elizabeth the first, Margaret Thatcher. They all left a great legacy after their lives.
But some jobs are not suitable for female. They are usually connected with handmade labour as a pipefitter or mineworkers. Of course, a woman can choose her way in this specialty but she must be strong and steadfast before everything that can happen in her job.
As we can see it all began long ago. Women were living just to give birth to heir or even just to marry successfully. The time has changed. For the better, of course. Now women are the part of our society. They have rights, voice and education that can lead them to big things. They can be good at every sphere in which they interested in. So we can't judge them by their gender, all depends upon personality.
I love to read, and have had time to read a lot of books. However, I find it difficult to name their most favorite book. I love to read Russian classics - Dostoevsky, Pushkin, Lermontov, and many others. From the works of our classics I like best - "The Cherry Orchard" by Anton Chekhov, Maxim Gorky's play "The Lower Depths", a novel by Ivan Turgenev "Fathers and Sons," "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoevsky - and many more things. Of foreign literature I love fantasy Ronald Reuel Tolkien, John. I love the stories and novels of Jack London, especially "White Fang." I was very struck by the novels of Karl May on the life of the Indians of the Wild West. Again - It is very difficult to distinguish among all read books by foreign authors any one, they are many. Poetry of my favorite poems read poets of the Silver Age. And I hope that the number of my favorite books in the future will only grow!
