THE TOWER OF LONDON
The tower of London was built by William the Conqueror in 1078 as a castle and palace. Since that time it has been extended to its present size, and used as an armoury, a zoo, a royal mint, a prison, and a museum. At the time when it was a prison a lot of peoplewere locked in the Tower for their religious beliefs or suspected treason. Anne Boleyn, Sir Walter Raleigh and Elizabeth the First were shut up there, too. Spies were imprisoned in the Tower during both World Wars. Some of the prisoners were allowed to walk in the grounds, live in comfortable rooms and receive visitors. Many convicted were publicly executed on Tower Hill. They were beheaded with the block and axe, which were kept in it. Saint Edward’s Crown, the Imperial State Crown, and the royal scepter are guarded there. Saint Edward’s Crown is used for the coronation ceremonies. 3000 precious jewels are contained in the Imperial State Crown. In 1671 a daring attempt was made to steal the Crown Jewels by a man named Captain Blood.
Ann said that her parents didn't live in Moscow.
The first time I picked up a basketball ball in high school, but I did not strongly attracted to this sport due to the fact that I did not get a lot of tricks of the game. As you know, when it is impossible, do not want to try next, and vice versa, when it turns out, want more and more. We had to take the norm, and I did not get shots. Then I stayed a couple of times after school and went to the gym to work out. After a lot of balls thrown in the basket I liked it. There have been attempts to play with my brother in our backyard, even contrived shield made of boards and ring. But it did not last long, because we have a small yard and uneven pavement. But the desire to play I have left.
Entered the university, I got a basketball ball and went to leave the site and as it turned out, the site often come to play the local boys, and my friends are addicted. Now, we used to go to play, new people. What I like about the team games (especially in the yard), so this is a team game that brings people together, and even allows you to meet new interesting people.
