2. I love classic literature because I like how it affects my imagination.
3. I am reading Anna Karenina. It is drama, I think.
4. I have not watched TV for a very long time. The last program was some kind of detective.
5. I do not watch horror films. I do not feel good seeing much blood or whatever they show there.
6. I never read cheap books for women. Their plot is usually so banal.
-Hello, Mr Hanks
-Good morning, Anna. I'm glad to see you.
-Mr Hanks, I want to thank you for that five-step method, which you've advised me in your letter. It helped me a lot, however quarrelings didn't stop, they became more rare! They are learning to live in peace.
-Of course, my method won't help to solve all the problems in the relations between your sons but you can help your children to resolve their conflicts.
-Me? Good idea, but I've tried everything. They make a fuss about everything anyway. They want only to quarrel!
-You say that they can't do without quarrels? Eliminate any occasions for their conflicts. So, each one should write, what are the reasons of their conflicts. Besides, try to solve the problem this way: each one must be responsable for something in your house. For example, one will always take out the garbage, and another-make the beds. This kind of house duties help to exercise diligence and calm
-Thank you, Mr Hanks. I will surely try what you've said!
-You are welcome, Anna. I look forwards to the reports on your progress!
-For sure!
I fell ill last week. I woke up with a runny nose and a sore throat. Then I started sneezing. My mum took my temperature and said it was too high, so I didn't go to school. My mum called the doctor and told me to stay in bed. She also made me drink warm tea with lemon. Soon the doctor came. She examined me and said it was the cold. She wrote out a prescription for some nasal drops and a medicine to bring my temperature down. The doctor also told me to drink more water.
I followed all her recommendations and two days later I felt much better.
