a) One morning a little boy is sitting in the bus on his way to the school. He's sniffing all time and making such a noise with his nose that other people in the bus begin to shake their heads. b) The Englishman and the American were taking their dinner at one table without being introduced to one another. During a meal the American asked the Englishman to pass him a salt. "Here's a waiter, sir", replied sternly v. Englishman. "Oh, I beg your pardon, I was mistaken," said the American. "What? You were mistaken, sir, you took me for a waiter?" "Oh, no", answered the American. "I considered you gentleman".
c) Waitress: Some coffee, an orange juice, an egg sandwich and a cheese sandwich. You: Thank you. Some coffee and an egg sandwich are for me, an orange juice and a cheese sandwich are for my friend.
d) Teacher. Are these your things, Peter? A pen, The English dictionary, a notebook, a camera and a bag. Peter: a camera and a bag are mine, but not a pen, the dictionary, or a notebook.
