Mara Campos _became a rising star in the Progressive
Party. She _began her political career while she
was studying at Woodsville University. When she first stood as a candidate for Woodsville, she _didn`t win__ (not/ to win)
many votes – Woodsville is a traditional town, and no woman

But she was the winning candidate in the next election, and since then

She told me the reason . “ I began this campaign because women
