Hi! My name is Jake and it is my family. I have a very big family: mum, dad, granny, two sisters and one brother. Today the whole our family will go to the beach. We have no our own car, so we'll go on the bus. It is the modern red bus. My small brother very like to travel by bus. I like it too. During the rode my granny read magazine. She very likes to read. The bus stopped and we went out. My parents decided to drink some coffee. But I with my sisters will drink tea. The other over brother is too small, so he is already sleeping. And now we are on the beach. I very like to swim! My sisters like it too. We run together to the water. We took the ball from the home and now we can play with it in the water. Our mother says that we must leave the river and spend some time on the Sun. So, during few hours we were swimming, sunbathing and playing with a ball. Only our grandmother the whole time just reading the magazine. And in the end we had surprise. We went to the aquapark and rode on attraction. It was one of the best weekend in my life! Only my little brother and granny just sleaping and reading. I wish the next time they will spend their time in much interesting way. Because the weekend should stay in the memory, but to sleep and to read we can at home. I think we should try to live the happy and interesting life!
My favourite writer is Oscar Wilde. His reputation as a dramatist rests on his comic masterpiece «The Importance of Being Earnest». Within the social intrigues and artificial devices to resolve conflict, Wilde used his wit to create a form of comedy new to the English theatre. Oscar Wilde was the representative of the late 19-th century Aesthetic movement in England. It proclaimed art for art’s sake. Wilde was born in Ireland; he went to Trinity College in Dublin, and later continued his education at Oxford. During the years of study Wilde distinguished himself not only as a classical scholar, but also as a poet by winning the popular prize for his poem. In the early 1880s Wilde established himself in social and artistic circles. His most powerful novel is «The Picture of Dorian Gray.» In this novel Wilde shows the darkest corners of a man’s soul. The author’s message can be interpreted in the following way: a person who loves only himself will never be able to realise himself.
