At 5.30 in the morning the radio screams and Monica opens
her eyes and throws the covers off. She puts on a T-shirt,
trackpants and sneakers, picks up her gym bag and hurries
to her club. Her daily routine seldom changes. She goes to her
locker, hangs her clothes, and does her stretches. She knows
some people in the club, but she does not like to chat with them.
She takes her exercise very seriously. She has breakfast on
the way to work. It is always the same thing every day: a
cup of coffee and a dry roll. She does not have time to sit and enjoy
it. She tries to visit her gym five times a week and when she
is home early and has nothing to do, she goes to the gym
a second time in the evening. And of course there is work. The
more she works, the better she feels, the less she thinks about
her personal life.
