Сегодня Европа противостоит двум кризисам. Первый - это экономический кризис с ростом уровня бедности, отсутствием безопасности и ростом бездомности по всему континенту. Второй - климатический и экологический кризис, с серьезными последствиями для front-line сообществ Европы сегодня и еще более угрожающими - в перспективе.
Оба кризиса являются продуктами политических решений Европы, и они тесно связаны друг с другом. Содействие росту за счет ископаемых привело к разрушению окружающей среды, а преданность принципам бюджетной экономии сдерживает ответную реакцию Европы на это.
Необходим радикально новый подход, дабы обратить вспять эту разрушительную тенденцию и обеспечить экологическую справедливость как в Европе, так и во всем мире.
Мы называем этот подход «Новым Зеленым Курсом для Европы», и данный отчет является первой попыткой представить прагматичный и всеобъемлющий программный пакет, который соответствует его основным принципам.
Новый Зеленый Курс для Европы состоит из трех различных институтов.
